Mighty God
In Vaishnavism, Narayanan (Vishnu) is the supreme god and it tells he produced Brahma and Shiva. In Indian history of religion Lord Shiva was being worshiped in pre-historic time. The first concept of supreme being comes from Hinduism.Pre-historic India attest first supreme being as Shiva which literally means "The supreme one".
Another manifestation of Shiva is Mahadeva literally means "Lord of all goodness".Shiva is also known as Maheshvara, the great Lord, Mahadeva, the great God, Shambhu, Hara, Pinakadhrik, bearer of the axe and Mrityunjaya, conqueror of death. He is the spouse of Shakti, the goddess. He also is represented by Mahakala and Bhairava, the terrible, as well as many other forms including Rudra.
One Supreme Being is worshipped in Hinduism, helped by other Gods or Devas.
All Hindus worship one Supreme Being, though by different names. This is because the people of India with different languages and cultures have understood one God in their own distinct way. Regional and family traditions can play a large part in influencing this choice.[2] Through history four principal Hindu denominations arose --Saivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism and Smartism. For Saivites, God is Siva. For Shaktas, Goddess Shakti is supreme. For Vaishnavites, Lord Vishnu is God. For Smartas—who see all Deities as reflections of the One God—the choice of Deity is left to the devotee.

THE STRENGHT OF SHIVA. THE LOVE OF SHAKTI
This course is for everyone who would like to bring more balance not only in relating with a partner and in social life but as well in themselves and with their own role as a man and woman.
Man are used to think of themselves as being just a man and so are women but in every man there is a reflection of a woman and in every woman a reflection of a man.
SHIVA and SHAKTI symbolize two opposite polarities, two principals absolute and eternal: Male and Female, that trough their union give life to the entire creation.
In Tantra each male divinity is conceived as inseparable from the opposite female energy.
SHIVA cannot be conceived without his feminine half, SHAKTI. He can become active and can access to his power only when the energy of SHAKTI gives him strength.
SHAKTI in her own turn would not be able to express fully her passion and her love without surrendering to her SHIVA.
Each woman, identifying herself with SHAKTI will absorb the specific attributes. She will manifest a splendid light, as well as a gentleness, inner grace and thus her love.
Each man, identifying himself with SHIVA will absorb the specific attributes. He will manifest his conscious presence as well as his calmness and ability to give support and value, thus his strength.
The union of SHIVA and SHAKTI symbolize the impulse to unite awareness and energy, strength and love inside and outside each one of us.
When these two aspects are in balance we feel more whole and light and with a new quality in our relationships.

In our study of Tantra we will specifically focus on awakening the divine feminine, Shakti, and how this can be opened and developed as a way to connect every woman with her inner goddess. Aharata is a 5000 year old Egyptian tradition of psychological, emotional and energetic empowerment and protection. Based in martial arts and known as the ‘The Way of the Warrior,’ it is one of the most effective ways of developing the divine masculine for both men and women.
The Union of Shiva & Shakti:
Awakening Consciousness and Energy
Tantra is an ancient system, born in India around 5000 B.C. Tantric art has captured the images of the Hindu god Shiva and his consort, the goddess Shakti, in ecstatic union. Shiva is recognized as the embodiment of pure consciousness, and Shakti as the embodiment of pure energy. The Hindus believed that through uniting with Shiva, Shakti gave form to his spirit and created the universe.
In this view, the universe in all its manifestations, as an act of love. This is the meaning of the yab-yum images found in Buddhist iconography where male and female Buddhas are in union. These pictures, or thankas, are not literal. They represent inner realization and the union of the male and female energies, of skillful means and wisdom, bliss and space. It is our awakened state expressed in its most dynamic, ecstatic form.
The relationship between Shakti and Shiva is the dance of consciousness and energy experienced within each of us, regardless of gender.
Your inner Shakti is your lifeforce energy. The essence of feminine and yin energy. From this essence comes forth wisdom, beauty, playful energy, spaciousness, ability, creativity, and power. Shatki is the Great Mother and matrix of creation and all manifestation. She is the power that weaves the universe and manifests in all forms. The perfection of wisdom. The tangible manifestation of energy through the body and the senses.
Your inner Shiva is your unique embodiment of awareness and consciousness. Known as "lord of the dance," Shiva is the essence of masculine and yang energy, the manifestation of presence, purpose, and skillful means. Shiva is the Great Father, with ultimate compassion for all beings. He represents transcendence, detachment, bliss, and the way to ultimate liberation. Shiva is silent, eternal, the consciousness that dwells beyond time and beyond death, in the eternal now. Your inner Shiva is that ever-present neutral awareness that compassionately witnesses all experience, and embraces all of life as expressions of the Divine.
Together in union, Shiva and Shakti merge and create the universe in all its manifestations. Experienced in each of us, this is a union of male and female energies, the direct experience of skillful means and wisdom. You can open to this joyful dance between Shiva and Shakti, experienced as two aspects of your self, and reflected in all living beings as pleasure, beauty, happiness, and aliveness.
Balanced and integrated, our inner Shiva and Shakti experience life as a dynamic whole. We move forward with clear vision, yet we are willing to trust and flow with whatever life brings us. As we become more whole, our need to look outside of ourselves for love falls away. We can experience the sweetness of this union of our inner masculine and inner feminine. From this place we can create more harmonious relationships and more joy in our lives.
